What
is EZ8 Running? This first began as a little 8-week running
program for a group of women who wanted
additional exercise, one year
during those holiday months.
It was designed
for women who had the desire to run an eight-minute
mile; thus the name, “easy eight”.
The EZ8 Running Program was such a success
that the women requested for it to continue.
Christina Lucy developed this program
in 2002 and recently turned it into a
certification program through NESTA,
National Exercise and Sports Trainers
Association; giving other trainers
and running coaches the opportunity to
help recreational runners...or just regular,
everyday, women who want to be more fit
and don't even know the joy of running,
yet.
Because
so many of the EZ8 Runners were becoming
extremely successful in their runs,
5K's, 10K's and then marathons, the interest soon grew to that
of expanding EZ8.
EZ8
running classes teach technique, form and effective breathing.
So, not only are you running faster and
further, you are running better and more
efficiently.

Lucy is your EZ8 Lead Running Coach
Christina
Lucy developed and coaches the EZ8 Running
Program.
For over 15 years, Christina has taught
aerobics and group fitness classes for
many prestigious fitness clubs and spas
throughout the country. She is an RRCA
certified running coach, as well as a Pose Certified running coach. She offers personal training as a NESTA certifed
personal trainer and holds a PACE circuit
training instructor certification. She
is also CPR and First Aid Certified (just in case). Christina
has undergone training in challenge course
administration and safety. She is also the owner of Code Pink Boot Camp.
Kyle
Romine coaches the Newport Beach EZ8 Running
Camp. Kyle is also a Sports Performance
Coach at Velocity Sports Performance in
Anaheim, CA; holding certifications in
Personal Training (NASM-CPT) and Strength
and Conditioning (NSCA-CSCS).
Kyle ran college Track and Field and Cross
Country at Paradise Valley CC; Team National
runners-up in 2000 and individually earned
All-American in the 3000m Steeplechase.
Kyle began a brand new NCAA DI track and
field program in Texas at A&M Corpus
Christi. He graduated from Arizona StateUniversity
with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology
in 2003. Since that glorious day he has
worked with numerous personal training
clients and also coached track and field
at the college level.
