This is a fun eight-week running program
geared towards women of all ages and fitness
abilities. The ultimate goal is to be
able to run an 8-minute mile with EASE,
thus the name...Easy Eight (EZ8).
not about being a track star or an elite
athlete. It's about being the best YOU can be. It’s not about getting
up at 5:00 a.m. to run with a group of
women for an hour. It’s a lot more!
You really learn how to run better and
more efficiently. You will find yourself building relationships with other women who enjoy and have the same interests and goals. It’s always different
and a lot of fun. The group’s average
age is late twenties to early fifties.
As an EZ8 runner, you will gain confidence,
endurance, speed, and find your legs leaner
and stronger. You don’t have to
be a great runner to begin. If you are a beginner you may enroll in the TRUE BEGINNER pogram. To qualify for the "regular" MWF, EZ8 program, you must only
be able to run one mile without having
to stop to walk...even if your one mile
is extremely s l o w.
Lucy coaches this 8-week women's running
camp in Rancho Santa Margarita and runs include Mission Viejo. You will
feel rewarded by running a 5K at your
FASTEST speed with the group at the end
of this camp. You'll also receive a great
EZ8 T-shirt on graduation day!

Running Clinics :
Running Clinics are 2-hours in duration. You don't run the entire time, so relax! The clinics are actually a lot of fun! You will learn different running techniques to allow you to become a more effecient runner.
You will view a short video, and then you yourself will be video taped so you can see what you are ACTUALLY doing when you are running. Sometimes what we THINK we are doing is very different from what we really are doing!
